The essence of the Mediterranean is found in the light of a sunset and the tranquillity of life by the sea. But it is also hidden inside, in the soul of our homes and in the simple things of day-to-day life.

With the aim of capturing this intimate feeling, the reading room of the Fundaci� Joan Mir� was designed: a space created to offer visitors a moment to pause, a place in which to reflect, read or converse.
