Travel safe and fly fit this Easter
As part of our Customer First Compass program, we’re sharing essential tips to make sure you're fit to fly—especially if you have an existing medical condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from surgery.
Here are some key reminders before you fly:
1️⃣ Check if you need a Fit-to-Fly certificate
Expectant mothers (beyond 28 weeks) and passengers recovering from medical procedures may require one—check with your doctor.
2️⃣ Pack smart
Keep medications and important travel documents in your carry-on bag.
3️⃣ Dress for comfort
Wear loose clothing and consider compression socks for long flights.
4️⃣ Stay hydrated and keep moving
Drink water often and stretch or walk when possible.
5️⃣ Stick to your medication schedule
Use reminders, especially if you’re crossing time zones.
6️⃣ Be mindful of others
If you’re feeling unwell, wear a face mask to protect fellow travellers.
7️⃣ Rest well onboard
Bring items like an eye mask or neck pillow to relax during your journey.
Our cabin crew are trained for in-flight medical situations, but we also recommend travel insurance to cover any post-flight care or diversions.
